I'm a husband, father, teacher. I'm doing my best, wishing I could do better, and trying to help others to effectively lead kids through early adolescence.

  1. One of the most memorable and useful things that my husband’s grandfather taught him was how to give a firm handshake. This was grandpa’s legacy and it has since been passed down do his great grandson! For a teenage boy to be able to look an adult in the eye and give a firm handshake is a great step in the right direction. It will hopefully give them confidence in the adult world in which they are entering!
