a mom

One of the most memorable and useful things that my husband’s grandfather taught him was how to give a firm handshake. This was grandpa’s legacy and it has since been passed down do his great grandson! For a teenage boy to be able to look an adult in the eye and give a firm handshake is a great step in the right direction. It will hopefully give them confidence in the adult world in which they are entering!
